Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we get asked most often.

The framework

Is the framework really free?
Yes. Published under CC BY 4.0 at framework.ai-native-transformation.com. You can read it, share it, adapt it, and apply it without any payment or permission. The paid product is the coaching platform that operationalizes it.
What's the framework based on?
Hands-on experience leading AI transformation at Cakemail, coaching work across the 5 pilot companies, and external research (BCG, McKinsey, PwC, Accenture). Each claim in the framework cites its source.
Do I have to use the platform to apply the framework?
No. The framework is complete on its own. The platform is how we deliver coaching at scale, track progress across the organization, and produce the evidence trail that proves the transformation is working.

The platform

What's in the platform?
Six integrated modules: AI Literacy Assessment, AI Coaching Sessions (6-step), Workflow Census, Transition Plan Builder, Manager Review Dashboard, and Admin Analytics. Plus the Codebase Readiness Grid — a free, open-source Claude Code skill for engineering teams.
Who is the platform for?
Technology companies with 20–200 employees ready to make AI a core competency. Typically led by a CTO, CEO, or VP Engineering with budget authority and a mandate to transform.
Does it work for non-technology companies?
The framework applies broadly. The platform is currently tuned for technology organizations — engineering roles get a specific rung scale, for example. If you're outside the technology sector, talk to us: we want to understand your context before committing.
Is my team's data secure?
Short version: data lives on US-based infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase / AWS). All coaching content is scoped per organization with enforced isolation. Anonymization and export are available on request. Full detail in the privacy policy.

Engagement

How much does it cost?
Pricing is set per engagement. Pilots are a fixed fee; post-pilot rollout scales with team size. Full shape of the cost on the pricing page.
How long does a transformation take?
Pilots are 30–90 days. Full transformation to Level 3 (AI-Native) across an organization typically takes 12–24 months, depending on starting maturity and pace. The transformation is role-by-role, team-by-team — it doesn't all happen in parallel.
What's the commitment from me as a leader?
A named executive sponsor who will review transition plans, a 1-hour orientation at the start of the pilot, and the budget. Beyond that, the platform and coaching drive the work. You don't need a project manager assigned to this.
Do you work outside Quebec?
Yes. The team is Quebec-based, but the product is bilingual EN/FR and deployed globally.
Can I see case studies?
Not publicly yet — the pilot is closed and we respect our partners' confidentiality. We can share anonymized examples on a call.
